  Initially we thought we had a superb kitchen and excellent service from Wren Durham. From design to installation everything was initially taken care of. They do have an excellent range of styles and colours and a wide range of appliances and accessories to choose from. Our designer was great, thanks Steve, and initially the same for the fitter provided by Wren. From design to installation was relatively quick. We were initially very happy with Wren and the kitchen. But.. UPDATE Regrettably I have installation issues with the kitchen, an upstand and extractor fan not extracting sufficiently. Wren Customer Service have responded positively to most of the issues reported to them with a view to putting them right, but I'm really annoyed with their comments regarding the performance of the extraction fan and putting the responsibility on to me to sort out with the manufacturer if the issue continues after the rectification work with the fitter. Shameful attitude considering I've paid thousands in fitting costs alone! UPDATE 10/04/2026 Buyer beware. If you have issues as we have you will be told to sort it out with the installer and claim against their liability insurance. At no point does Wren inspect the installation, during or after. There is zero quality assurance from our experience and trying to get things sorted after installation you will be told to sort things out yourself as mentioned. Shameful attitude. I've uploaded the videos and phototographic evidence for all to see for your own conclusions. Shocking customer service received. I wish I had gone eleswhere now. Could have saved thousands and avoided the headache issues I now have. They even closed an unresolved complaint on the 25th December 2025! We were a returning customer but we wish we hadn't now. As always the fitting is key to any DIY but Wren will not take responsibility for fitting and goods provided from our latest and last experience of them. AVOID

  Popped in today to look at their show room to get an idea of whether we wanted to make an appointment later to renovate our kitchen. During our 5 mins in store, someone asked us a series of questions even though we kept saying we just wanted to have a look around only to have someone come over twice more to make really awkward conversation when we again said we just wanted to look around. Thank you for making us feel so unwelcome, will make sure we choose someone else for our kitchen renovation. Maybe your customers just need some space.

  We purchased a kitchen from Wren Durham showroom, our sales advisor advised us to relax and let Wren handle our kitchen. BIG MISTAKE! This is how it will happen - 1. You will take full advantage of the free measuring service which Wren claim it will ‘have your kitchen fit perfectly. This will provide you with peace of mind and make you think, great, what could possibly go wrong? Well take a look at the small print terms and conditions which states - the responsibility of the correct measurements lays solely with the customer. Yes I know, crazy isn’t it, how could we possibly re-measure our kitchens without any laser measuring equipment or know how, to confirm the measurements of the professional? Moreover, why would we take advantage of this free measure if we could measure our own kitchen? Why would anyone for that matter? Be very careful as you will end up with a kitchen that does not fit and they will blame you for this. 2. You will then take advantage of your free design appointment, this will consist of the sales representative planning where you want your units and appliances to go etc. Wren claim it will be unique to your kitchen sizes but this doesn’t portray what we would expect.. Wren use two different sizes on their carcasses and any unused space between units is made up of filler gaps. Sorry to make you aware but these are generic sized units and not custom to your kitchen room. 3. Once you are happy with your kitchen design, you will be shown a big screen in their showroom, which will show you thousands of pounds worth of savings under their current sale (which will end in a couple of days) DO NOT PANIC and DO NOT BE PUSHED INTO A SALE. Wren ALWAYS have a sale on, they just rename it as a different sale so that they can tell you that the sale is ending soon! 4. You will then be asked to pay a deposit and you will be asked how you would like to pay the remaining balance, you will take advantage of their 5 year interest free finance, unfortunately you are now told that the 5 year interest free finance is only available with their infinity plus range (the most expensive) you then take a look at the infinity plus range and think you know what? 25 year warranty on the kitchen with the infinity plus range is fantastic! Whilst the sales rep agrees with you (rubbing their little hands together) 5. You purchase the infinity plus range with the 5 year interest free and 25 year warranty, you then find out after referring to the small print their 25 year warranties only cover the carcasses of the units. That’s right! You only get 1-2 year on doors, knobs, handles etc. You then receive your kitchen which is missing items or damaged. You will more than likely have your fitters booked in the next day as you don’t have room to store a full kitchen (nobody does) you then have to push the fitters back because you have an incomplete kitchen. As per the terms and conditions as soon as your full kitchen arrives you need to inspect everything for any signs of damage so unbox everything etc, you are expected to do this prior to arranging your fitter! Which will probably take atleast a months notice due to other work commitments. ITS JUST NOT PRACTICABLE OR REALISTIC. You will then have to order replacement parts for the damaged items which will take ATLEAST one week to arrive sometimes two weeks pushing your fitters back again and delaying your kitchen further! When you receive your replacements you will more than likely find those are also damaged and you will have to order further replacements … which pushes it back even FURTHER. A complete and utter shambles AVOID. You will then be offered a pathetic amount of compensation for your suffering. That’s if they don’t ignore you all together, I had to stand outside of the local branch with fact leaflets to get taken seriously. They will blame you or your fitter.
